In class 5 we have been designing and launching our own rockets to help us think about how it would feel to go to space. See our class page for more pictures and videos.
Class 2 had to find out who stole the KS1 gem pot. We started the day with training showing skills of balance, agility, teamwork, strength and gentleness as well as showing many of our school values. Our classroom was a crime scene so we had to write evidence reports. We then did some problem solving activities to work out clues that helped us find out who the villain was. A note was found so we did some chromatography to work out whose pen was used to write it. We saw CCTV footage and with all the evidence gathered in the morning, we wrote questions and interrogated the suspects. We worked out who the villain was after our last piece of evidence revealed the finger prints. The gem pot has now been returned to its rightful place.
