    We had an amazing response to the cuddly toy appeal. Mr and Mrs Mason visited WVPS on Thursday to talk about their work in Gambia and tell us what will happen to the generous donations of cuddly toys for the children in Gambia. Thank you

  • Golden Table - Autumn Term 1

    Children earn gems at lunch time for following ‘Rules of the Lunch Hall’. This half-term our focus was on children who were eating fruit and vegetables.

    Our winners were Class 2, with 90 gems and Class 4 with 282 gems. They were invited to sit on the Golden Table to eat lunch with their teachers at lunch time. They were served juice and this was followed by a small treat! Well done.

  • Classes 1 & 2 bulb planting at Waddesdon Manor

    After a long walk to the Manor we had a great day of planting bulbs, making origami tulips and learning about the life cycle of a tulip. Did you know that the tulip first came from Turkey not Amsterdam?

  • Class 3's Stone Age Workshop

    After an adventurous bus journey Class 3 arrived at the Chiltern Open Air Museum to take part in a Stone Age Workshop. We learnt how to hunt wild animals, forage for food, make pigments, build a shelter, light a fire and make a cordage bracelet. It was an eventful day in the Stone Age!

    We got into the Christmas spirit today and did some artwork for our visitors from Waddesdon Manor. We had so much fun singing Christmas songs as we worked!
