Class 5 and Class R Friendship buddies
Tue 30 Apr 2019This half term, Class R will be working with Class 5 for our friendship buddies. Today we met our buddies and worked together in either the ICT suite or in Class R testing out the new Ipads.

Class 3 visit the Verulamium Museum
Sun 28 Apr 2019On Friday 26th April, Class 3 visited the Verulamium Museum in St Albans. The day included: a visit to the hypocaust; a look around the museum; an artefact handling session and a trip to the museum shop. We were praised on our deep Roman knowledge and outstanding behaviour. All in all, a super trip!

An Eggciting Week in Class R
Fri 26 Apr 2019Class R have had an exciting delivery this week, which has inspired us in our writing, phonics and maths. We were pleased to see the arrival of some duck eggs and can't wait to see what happens over the next few weeks.

Class 5 Iron Man scupting
Wed 24 Apr 2019To link with our core text ' The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes, Class 5 used clay and a variety of different sculpting techniques to make their own Iron Men.

Class One's Monster Museum
Wed 24 Apr 2019What a fantastic first day back! Thank you to everyone who attended Class One's Monster Museum. The children worked incredibly hard last term and it was fantastic to be able to show case all of their hard work. We hope you enjoyed the monster drinks and snacks.

Pupil Parliament trip to Waddesdon Manor with School Council at Haydon Abbey School
Thu 04 Apr 2019On Wednesday Pupil Parliament had an outing with the School Council from Haydon Abbey Primary School. After our trip to Haydon Abbey earlier in the year, they came to see us this term. We went for a picnic at Waddesdon Manor. We were really looking forward to their visit and made cupcakes for them. It was a great day out!

Quicksand at Science Club
Wed 03 Apr 2019It was the last week of Science club this week and we spent it making quicksand (with corn flour and water) and predicting which items would sink and which would float. We were very accurate with our predictions and even thought about the science behind it all!
