Class R and Class 5 Walk
Fri 25 Nov 2016Yesterday, Class R and Class 5 walked down to the church. Class 5 had made posters about road safety, for road safety week, and shared these with Class R before the walk. Class 5 and Class R then had a partner and held hands down to the church. The Class 5 children were very helpful in teaching Class R how to cross the road safely! Class 2's Walk to the war memorial
Fri 11 Nov 2016This week class 2 went for a walk to the Waddesdon war memorial.
We then went on to write acrostic poems about the heroes that lost their lives for us in war.

Year 6 Maths Masterclass
Tue 01 Nov 2016On Tuesday 1st November 2016, a selection of children from year 6 went over to the Waddesdon CE school to attend a mathematics master class. During this, we learnt lots of useful mathematic skills - whilst partnered with the year 8's. Overall we had two lessons. We were split into two groups accompanied by another school, each lesson was one hour long. In our first lesson we learnt about number sequences, then in our second lesson we learnt about formulas and how to find them. During this we had two teachers (one female, one male.) We all enjoyed this opportunity a lot and hope to go again later in the year!
