  • World Toilet Day

    Wed 19 Nov 2014
Yesterday was World Toilet Day - around one in three of the world's population – don't have a safe, clean, private toilet and more people have a mobile phone than a toilet!  So Waddesdon pupils ' spent a penny' to raise money for this event.  Pennies and other small change were laid in the courtyard - we raised £52.74. As a result we have twinned with a toilet in Bangladesh.  We will shortly be receiving a certificate and photo of it, together with its GPS coordinates!  Thank you to everyone who supported this and raised the children's awareness.

  • Visitor to Year 2

    Thu 13 Nov 2014
On Thursday 13th November, Lina Frost, one of the children's mums, came to visit. She taught us all about Columbia, where she is from, and taught us some Spanish. We even looked at some books in Spanish and had to work out what they were about. Then we made labels of Spanish months and numbers to display in our classroom.
