New Kitchen!

Team Captain Presentations
Thu 18 Sep 2014During week One Autumn Term, Class held a speech competition during which pupils had to perform a presentation promoting their case for being Team Captains. We were very impressed with the level of confidence in all our year 6 pupils in delivering their presentations. Photographs of the winner are available on the Gallery pages! -
Class 1 - World themed dress up day
Tue 16 Sep 2014Class 1 researched countries from around the world and then came to school dressed up to represent different countries. This linked to their Geography topic. Children used their speaking and listening skills to share their understanding about the world and their writing skills to create postcards.

Year 2 Superhero day!
Tue 16 Sep 2014Class 2 all dressed up as Superheroes on Tuesday to link into their topic work on Heroes and Superheroes. They wrote character descriptions of their Superhero as well as working out the best material for a superhero hideout in Science. See the gallery for pictures!

Talk Partners Day
Mon 15 Sep 2014During Talk Partners Day, KS2 spent the morning discussing and writing about how to be a good talk partner. The also designed games or activities for KS1 to help them practise their talk partner skills. In the afternoon, they shared their games with KS1. See the gallery for more pictures!
