Class 2 The Enchanted Wood
Fri 28 Jun 2019Today we enjoyed a morning in the Enchanted Wood. Some children came to school as characters from the book. We recreated the journey the characters took to find the Faraway Tree. We explored all the different types of trees in the Enchanted Wood and found lots of minibeasts! Then we travelled to the Land of Birthdays and made treats - pop cakes, toadstools, hedgehogs and jam tarts. We tasted some of Moon-Face's toffee and fresh lemonade. We got to do lots of activities that the characters did in the book. We had the extra treat of releasing the butterflies that we have been watching grow in class.

Year 5 are Mummified!

Year 5 and 6 Rocket Launching

Science Boffins
Mon 03 Jun 2019To launch STEM week, Waddesdon Village Primary School invited in a company called 'Science Boffins' to lead a fantastic science assembly and workshops throughout the school. A big thank you to parents and PAWs for helping the school fund this fantastic day.
