Today was the first Gardening Club and we concentrated on weeding. It was very cold today but the children worked incredibly hard. As we took out more weeds we got to see lots of worms which were fun to look out for. We have already discussed ideas for what we would like to plant: flowers and vegetables.

  • Monday 8th January - School Open

Fri 05 Jan 2018 Miss Forchione

    Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to inform you that the school will be open on Monday 8th January. This decision has been made by Bucks County Council and the school site is deemed safe for children, parents and staff to enter.

The side path, which provides access to Little Oaks is partially in use but cannot be used to access the back of the school building. On arrival at school, all children can enter the school grounds via the double gate and park gate as normal and, once the bell has rung, can enter the school via the school hall (KS2) and, as normal for Year 1 and Year 2 children. This will work in reverse at the end of the school day.

The Reception Class is not in a useable state. This means that Class R children will be based in the school hall and surrounding shared areas until further notice. On arrival at school, Class R children will be met at the school hall doors as usual. At the end of the day, they will be dismissed via the school hall doors.

Fresh Start will be providing a packed lunch for those children who have lunch orders and have selected a packed lunch preference on the Fresh Start Meal Manager for when they attend school trips.  If you have not chosen a packed lunch substitute for school trips then you will need to provide your child with a packed lunch even if you have ordered a hot lunch. No hot meals will be served until further notice.

The Year 1 phonics and reading workshop is still going ahead on Monday 8th January for a 6pm start.

I must thank you for your continued support at this time and look forward to seeing all the children back at school on Monday.

    Kind regards,

    Laura Forchione
