YEAR 3 and 4 BISI Badminton
Back in December a group of children in Year 3 and 4 attended a badminton festival at Waddesdon C of E School. They trained hard at a weekly club and this hard work paid off. They came 2nd and earned a place in the finals day at Stoke Mandeville on 11th June.
In preparation for this event, the children attended an intense club in order to perfect their skills. This finals day was tough as they were to come up against all of the top schools in Bucks. Through hard work, determination and perseverance they managed to come 1st!
They now find themselves entered in to the wider finals and will represent Bucks schools on 10th July!
Well done to Phoebe, Mia, Keira, Alice, Ewan, Ali, Peter, Callum and Edward.

It's ‘Walk To School Week’ at Waddesdon!
Please join in as much as you can. There is a twist this year! Tuesday is ‘HAPPY SHOESDAY’ Children can come to school with their own choice of shoes or decorate a pair to make FUNKY FOOTWEAR. There is also a competition that the Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) in Year 6 are running to design their own FUNKY FOOTWEAR.
Every morning the JRSOs will be in the playground ready to stamp forms. If children can look after these and walk every day they can go into a lucky draw at the end of the week for a prize!
Happy walking!
Last Thursday KS1 and KS2 had a careers assembly from Sarah James. She told us all about her job as a bank manager at Halifax and answered our questions. Thank you!
