We’re very excited to be welcoming GB Triple Jumper Kola Adedoyin to the school on the afternoon of Wednesday 11th March.
We are inviting children to dress up as a character from their favourite book. A winner from each class will be chosen and they will receive a prize in assembly. We would be very grateful if children could bring in a £1 donation for this which will go to Book Aid International, enabling them to support libraries for children in Africa.
Also, children will have the opportunity to take part in a ‘Book Swap’. For this they need to bring in any unwanted books (please take to the hall by 8.40am) and in exchange they will receive raffle tickets. During the course of the day they will be able to use their raffle tickets to ‘buy’ books that other children have bought in.
