Our success has been celebrated in The Bucks Herald this week:
What a fantastic first day! Class four have enjoyed a scavenger hunt, archery, low ropes and a challenge course today. The evening ended with songs and jokes around the campfire. So proud to see brilliant teamwork and plenty of perseverance.
See the Gallery in Pupil Zone for more photos.
On Thursday 1st March we had a busy World Book Day with a book swap in the morning and parents coming reading with us in the afternoon. All adults and children dressed up as different characters from books. It was difficult to choose a winner from each class.
Class R: A pink crayon from the book 'The Day The Crayons Quit'
Class 1: Alice in Wonderland
Class 2: Sophie from 'The BFG'
Class 3: The Tin Man from 'The Wizard of Oz'
Class 4: Cruella De Vil from '101 Dalmations'

Dear Parents and Carers,
I regret to inform you that, due to adverse weather conditions, Waddesdon Village Primary School will be closed tomorrow. Due to the forecast of snowfall tonight and tomorrow we have made the decision to close the school on Friday 2nd March. The conditions in and around school would make it extremely difficult for staff and children to travel to school safely. I hope that by informing everyone tonight arrangements can be made for tomorrow in plenty of time.
I look forward to seeing children back at school on Monday 5th March.
Thank you for your understanding.
Miss Laura Forchione
