Gambia Assembly
On Wednesday 5th July, John and Janet Mason came into school to tell us about what they have been up to with the Gambia School Project. They showed us photos of different places they have worked at. Most of these were primary school and nurseries. They told us that in a standard school in Gambia, there are roughly 200 children but only 4 classes. These means that the class sizes are extremely large. At the end of the assembly, the school presented the project with over £400 that the school has raised throughout the year. This will go towards helping other school's and children in Gambia.
