Breakfast Club

At Waddesdon Village Primary School we provide a Breakfast Club service every morning Monday to Friday from 7:45am.

We believe that all pupils can succeed and in order to achieve this we feel that all children need to have a healthy and nutritious breakfast to start off the day.

'You have the right to safe water to drink, nutritious food and a safe and clean environment.'

(Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) – Article 24)

Breakfast Club is open to all pupils at our school at an affordable rate to support our parental community. To ensure that all our pupils have breakfast each morning, pupils who are eligible for Pupil Premium funding will receive a fully funded place.

All sessions must be paid for before attending Breakfast Club. If your child receives a fully funded place you must still book through the booking system but you will not be charged on check-out. If you are in receipt of childcare vouchers and wish to pay using these, please inform the office in advance so we can set this up for you.

Organisation

Breakfast Club runs from 7:45am- 8:30am each morning during term time. All pupils must be registered at Breakfast Club by 8:00am if they require breakfast. Children should enter through the side gate of the playground and are then registered by the member of staff on duty. Pupils will then have a choice of a range of healthy breakfast options which they can eat. Once the children have tidied their area the can choose to take part in a variety of different activities that are on offer to them. At 8:30am pupils are sent to their classes for soft-start.
