Welcome to the PTA section.

What is PAWS?

The Parents at Waddesdon School (PAWS) is the PTA for Waddesdon Village Primary School.

We are a friendly group and our aim is to raise funds for the school to buy additional equipment to further enhance the facilities available to pupils within the school.  We also aim to plan fun events for our families and help build strong connections within our school community.

We organise a variety of exciting events throughout the year.

Some of the events we run are:

• Christmas cards fundraiser
• Discos
• Raffles (Christmas & Summer)
• Movie nights
• Break the rules day/ Freaky Friday
• Bake/ book sales
• The colour run
• Christmas or Summer Fayres

Thanks to the support of our families we have been able to fund the following projects at the school in recent years:

• The first phase of the adventure playground
• A school stage
• School pond contribution
• Defibrillator
• Computer equipment ‘Crumble’ for Years 5 and 6
• Playground equipment

Every year our fundraising also provides:

• The Year 6 year books
• Class Christmas parties (food and parcels)
• SATs breakfast
• Christmas crackers for the Christmas lunch
• Sports ice pops for all the children

This year our goal is to raise £10,000 for the second phase of the adventure playground.
